Accommodations
All participants, volunteers as well as those just there for the fellowship must check-in at the event entrance and have a signed waiver on file. Check-in should begin about 2:00 PM on Friday. The owners of Round the Bend have added 16 premium RV pads that have AC and water hookups. These will be available to be reserved at an additional cost. Reservations will be made online via a link managed by the Event Director. Exact cost is TBD but will likely be in the $20- $30 / night range. DO NOT CONTACT TURNER BEND STORE TO RESERVE ONE OF THESE RV SITES DURING THE WEEKEND OF WW SCHOOL. More information will be sent out via email to club members regarding how to reserve the premium spaces. There will be some limited space for other campers and small RV's that do not have AC and water hookups. These non-hookup spots are at no additional costs. The facilities at the Round the Bend site will include porta-potties for men and women, flush toilets and new for 2024, a shower house!! Fresh, potable water is located next to the pavilion. Campfires must be in designated fire pits. Campground Quiet Hours are from 11:00 PM til 6:30 AM. That said, we've learned that "quiet" is a relative term. So this year we will designate an area for those who like to stay up a bit later and talk around the campfire etc. Paddlers (and Instructors) need their rest to be able to enjoy the classes. Please respect these quiet hours and quiet zones. For those who need it dead quiet to sleep, we'd recommend ear plugs. If this is not acceptable, you can always camp elsewhere in the area.
